The Hikvision DS-2CD2126G2-IMS is a professional 2MP fixed-dome network camera designed for installations requiring both network video and a direct local monitor connection. Its 1/2.8-inch progressive-scan CMOS sensor records at up to 1920 × 1080 Full HD resolution, with a maximum main-stream frame rate of 25fps in 50Hz mode or 30fps in 60Hz mode.

Its fixed 2.8mm F1.4 lens provides a wide 106° horizontal field of view, making it suitable for monitoring entrances, counters, reception areas, corridors, offices and other broad indoor spaces. Integrated smart infrared illumination provides visibility up to a manufacturer-stated 30 metres in darkness.

A dedicated Type-D HDMI 1.4 output allows the camera to provide a direct HD live view to a compatible monitor. This can be useful for reception desks, retail counters, security entrances and local public-view displays where a nearby live image is required without displaying the complete NVR interface.

The camera supports human and vehicle classification for compatible motion and perimeter events. Supported smart functions include line-crossing detection, intrusion detection, region-entrance detection, region-exit detection and face capture. Correct performance depends on camera position, target size, lighting and configuration.

For recording, the camera can connect to a compatible Hikvision NVR or video-management system and also supports compatible microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards up to 512GB. Power can be supplied using IEEE 802.3af PoE or a suitable 12V DC supply.

Its full-metal housing carries an IK10 vandal-resistance rating. Hikvision does not list an IP weatherproof rating for this model, so it should not be advertised as an IP67 outdoor camera.
