The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-K2/16P/VPro is a professional 16-channel PoE AcuSeek K VPro NVR for IP CCTV systems. The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-K2/16P/VPro is a 16-channel network video recorder designed for professional IP CCTV installations where built-in PoE, smart event filtering, and faster video searching are required.

With 16 built-in PoE interfaces, compatible IP cameras can be connected directly to the recorder, reducing the need for a separate PoE switch in many installations. The recorder supports up to 16 IP camera inputs and provides up to 160 Mbps incoming bandwidth and 160 Mbps outgoing bandwidth, making it suitable for multi-camera systems using high-resolution IP cameras.

This VPro model supports Hikvision AcuSense technology to help reduce false alarms by identifying human and vehicle targets in supported events. It also supports AcuSearch and AcuSeek. AcuSearch is supported by camera across all channels, but the camera must have AcuSearch enabled. AcuSeek is supported across all channels when compatible Hikvision AcuSense cameras are used and AcuSearch is enabled. Hikvision lists AcuSeek as capable of modelling up to 50,000 targets per day, with search language listed as English.

The NVR supports H.265, H.265+, H.264 and H.264+ decoding formats, helping reduce storage demand compared with older compression methods. It supports recording resolutions up to 12MP, HDMI output up to 4K 3840 × 2160 at 30Hz, VGA output up to 1080p, and 16-channel synchronous playback.

For storage, the recorder includes 2 SATA interfaces, with Hikvision’s datasheet listing support for up to 16TB per HDD. A hard drive is not included by default unless your product bundle specifically states that an HDD is supplied.
